THE PILGRIMAGE SPIRIT

Our way is inspired by the boy scout movement both functionaly and spiritually, giving individual responsibility. Good humour and spirit of participation help the well being of the group.
We want to live « as christians » in friendship, charity, and prayer, the spiritual way. We ask everyone to dress and and behave respectably and leave behind anything that could get in the way of pilgrimage spirit (no smoking in public on the pilgrimage).
In a christian civilisation, the external apperance reflects the inner soul.
Saint Father Pio is strict on this point. To keep to his message we ask that clothing covers the shoulders and reaches the knees.
PROGRAMME

The beginnig of the day will be a walk in chapter groups, meditating together on the rosary. During the morning everyone can walk at their own rhythm alone or in small groups. We will take the time to rest at lunch time to get out of the sun.
The priests and seminarists accompagning us will give 2 or 3 lessons over the course of the day.
CHAPLAINCY

As for several years, the chaplaincy is assured by both the falters and brothers of the fraternity Saint Vincent Ferrier and the priests and seminaristes of the Fraternity Saint Peter.The priests celebrate the mass according to the rite of saint Pie V. During our pilgrimage this year of the Eucariste, we take the chance to deeper our understanding of the Mass.
Other information will be given : spirituality, doctrine, art…the chaplaincy are avaliable along the journey to help with spirituel direction, confessions…
DURING THE YEAR

We propose several activities : week end walks (1st or 2nd of the year) or reconciliation (in october), a night-time pilgrimage to Chartres Cathedral (this year 9 april) and the pilgrimage to Chartres for Pentacoste.
