For those coming by plane Frankfurt is the best airport with cheap and direct flights.
There will be volunteers to welcome you all day the 9th August until 6 p.m., we ask you to give us your flight details in advance (June). The coaches will also go to Cologne the 15th August and take you back to Frankfurt the morning of the 22nd august, especially for overseas travellers.
We ask that you don't book flights departing before noon. If you have any request concerning flights ( a before noon departure for example) , ask for your national representative.
For those coming by train you can come direct to Bavaria (Hergatz station) or Cologne.
At Dusserdolf, we'll give you a meeting point. Please let us know (on the form) if you want to be taken to Frankfurt airport on the 22 of August or if you will be taking the train. If you continue your trip in Europe, please let us also know.
You MUST give your number flights and flight schedules to your national representative. You can book a hostel room in Dusseldorf (near Oberkassel) the 21st if you wish to :

What are the sleeping arrangements ? What are the sleeping arrangements ?


In Bavaria : large tents sleeping 40 erected in a large camp. You need to bring a camping mat and sleeping bag.
In Düsseldorf (near Cologne) : Again you need a mat and sleeping bag but this time it is camping indoors.



What else to bring ? What else to bring ?


Everything you need for 10 days especially swimming trunks (the only showers are communal although same sex) and walking boots.
A note book and pen, a musical instrument if you have one, your missal as well if you have one, and above all your joy, your enthusiasm and your good humour.
A booklet containing the texts for the mass, the programme and the hymn sheets will be given to you on your arrival.
Please note that your shoulders must be covered and your shorts or skirt sufficiently long to be allowed into churches in Germany, this applies to both sexes.
